Part of the mediator's job is to document conclusions reached in the debate.

Sometimes, it's important to get a very specific point clear. "Do you mean to say this?" "Do we both agree on this point?" "What do you mean when you use the term ____?". Especially if there are many of these at once, it is difficult to do this "manually" in the middle of a discussion, without the discussion becoming unmanageable.

Do deal with this, here are a few features that can be generally described as conclusions. The debaters go through a more tightly controlled process to determine whether they agree with a very specific point, come up with a set of definitions for a term that they both agree on, etc.

This should remove a roadblock found in standard debate. Without such a formal process, debaters may forget an agreement they made or a definition they agreed on, and end up wasting time debating in circles. Here, we stop old issues from resurfacing.

Agreements

The debaters are asked very clearly, "do you agree with this, yes or no". If both debaters agree, it's tabulated, so it's clear what not to bother arguing anymore.

Definitions

The debaters are asked to define a term, for the purposes of the givendebate. Hopefully this will mitigate any disagreements based on vague definitions. A handy tooltip also appears for every use of the word after it's been defined.
